Scene Study

A six-week
intensive class for advanced actors.

Two students perform a scene in class.

The focus of this 6-week acting class is scene work, with an emphasis on active listening, connecting, character development and text analysis.

We will also spend time on cold reads and the audition process.

This class involves working on several scenes with scene partners throughout the class.

The class is structured so that actors present scenes at a high level of preparedness. This allows us to then instruct on how the work can be taken to the next level.

This class is for students who are serious and able to work hard during the six weeks.

If you are considering enrolling in Scene Study with us, you should ask yourself if you are willing and able to commit to preparing to your best level week in and week out.

PLEASE NOTE: Students will be expected to work on scenes with a scene partner outside of class.
